Growing Our Community
At Tri-County Produce, we understand that a business is only as healthy as the community it serves.
That's why we get involved and actively support community organizations that make a positive difference in people's lives.
Alzheimer's is the #3 cause of death in Santa Barbara County.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050.
Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. That is why Team Tri-County Produce needs your help.
John Dixon, owner of Tri-County Produce, is walking in honor of his mother, Joan Dixon, and his grandmother who both passed away after suffering from Alzheimer’s.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Rhonda Spiegel, CEO of the Alzheimer's Association CA Central Coast Chapter, and CA Central Coast Chapter Board Chair Leigh Cashman joined John Dixon, owner of Tri-County Produce to talk about their personal motivations to get involved and what the Alzheimer's Association is doing locally with the funds generated from the event.
